Dr. Ernest J. Barthélemy is Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery at the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York, where he also runs the Global Neurosurgery Laboratory. A Haitian-American native of New York City, Dr. Barthélemy is the founding president of the Society of Haitian Neuroscientists, and the 2021-2023 Co-Chair of the Young Neurosurgeons Forum of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.
