T. Teo Forcht Dagi, MD, DMedSc, DHC, FRCSEd, FAANS, FACS, FCCM, serves as chair of the Section on the History and Culture of Neurosurgery of the American Association of Neurological Surgery, and vice-chair and professor of neurosurgery at the Mayo College of Medicine and Sciences. Trained at the Massachusetts General Hospital and in London, he has found that familiarity with the history helps propel innovation, advance patient care and further the scientific basis for neurosurgery.
