Is Beer Good for the Brain?

Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol can have negative effects on the brain. However, drinking light or moderate amounts may not have such a negative effect. There has been a lot of disagreement on the role of drinking and the development of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. This study looked at the correlation between drinking various alcoholic beverages, such as wine, beer and spirits, and how that affected the aggregation of neuropathological signs.
